World of Tanks is a 2010 massively multiplayer online game by the Belarusian game developer Wargaming.net. It contains elements of third-person and tactical shooters, while the game pieces are the eponymous tanks. World of Tanks is a free-to-play product. In the game battles are carried out in which two groups of players with usually 15 tanks face each other. There are tanks in the categories "light tank", "medium tank", "heavy tank", "tank destroyer" and "self-propelled gun" (mobile artillery). Next, the tanks are divided into different power levels from I to X and different nations. The composition of the teams is calculated before the start of the game on the server side (so-called matchmaking), where categories, levels and nations are mixed. As a result, for example, British, Soviet and German tanks in the same team.
